JUICING FOR WEIGHT LOSS

When it comes to juicing for weight loss, they are two major strategies you can use to achieve your goals.  The first option is a total juice fast, where your calories are all in the form of liquid – you consume nothing but juice for a certain period. The second strategy includes using juice as a balanced meal replacement.

First Option – Total Juice Fast

A total juice fast for anything longer than a week is a bit difficult and might not be advisable based on the health risk it poses. It’s recommended you talk with your doctor first before giving this option a try. If your doctor gives the go-ahead, then the only thing you might want to worry about is keeping up the discipline, and preparing for it.

This method is only used for a certain period until you move to a sustainable, healthy diet that helps you to lose more weight or maintain the one you’ve lost.

Second Option – Use as a Balanced Meal Replacement

The second option or strategy when it comes to using juicing for weight loss is to incorporate it into your daily lifestyle. It’s quite simple. You substitute some of the unhealthy meals you eat in the day with a serving of detox juice.

By substituting some of the junk foods you eat such as burgers, fries, bagel, soda, and so on with get to add more nutrients to your body, reduce your cravings and eat fewer calories
